How to Invest

If you wish to invest with Surefire Capital, you must first demonstrate that you are a wholesale investor pursuant to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). We will then review your details and confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements. After being approved, you will then receive Information Memoranda relating to investment opportunities in various Surefire Funds.

Wholesale Investor Requirement

Investment is open to individuals, companies, trusts and superannuation funds, and any other form of legal entity operating in Australia. You may be an individual or entity including a self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF).

Investment in any Surefire Fund is open to all persons or entities that qualify as wholesale investors.

To qualify as a wholesale investor (as defined in s 761G of the Corporations Act 2001), you must:

  • Invest $500,000 or more with Surefire Capital;

OR

  • Provide a qualified accountant’s certificate that is no more than 2 years old which states that either:
    • You have net assets of $2.5 million; or
    • Your gross income in each of the last 2 financial years was at least $250,000;

OR

  • Qualify as a sophisticated investor
    • You must be a sophisticated investor for the purposes of s761 GA of the Corporations Act. If you believe that you qualify as a sophisticated investor, you must go through a more complex process with us than the Accountant's Certificate. You are likely to have previously undertaken this process with your financial advisor and should tell us if you think you fall into this category. We will contact you about this category.
